The Lib Trib and Their Bias

Recently the liberal Greeley Tribune revealed their penchant for homosexual activists and hatred for social conservatives in two separate editorials.  First, they blasted Marilyn Musgrave for her consistent stance on pro family values.  The opined their fears that she may revert to being a "single issue" candidate.  Rep. Musgrave has championed economic, farming, ranching and other issues that have helped her Colorado constituents throughout her congressional career.  However, this fact was lost to the Tribune.  It was as though they were trying to intimidate through media one who disagreed with their shadowy, immoral values.  Musgrave has campaigned as a true conservative, and has continued to win with them.  The Tribune and associated liberals hate this.  Their editorial was merely a shot across the bow of the Musgrave campaign.  Prepare for them to endorse whoever runs against her.

The other article was equally biased.  On Sunday, July 20, the Tribune reported on the impending Immigration office (ICE) coming to Greeley.  It stated the fact that "Conway and Allard" should have solved this larger problem at the Federal level.  So, here's the smear.  Currently, Sean Conway is a staff member to Senator Allard.  Allard votes, works with legislation, and represents the people.  While Sean Conway is currently running for Weld County Commissioner on his own merits, Senator Allard is the one who casts votes for bills and has called on ICE to establish an office in Greeley.  The call in the Tribune for "Conway" to do something about this is a clever journalistic attempt to transfer negative spin from Allard to Conway, instead of evaluating Conway based on his own merits.  Subtle?  Yes.  Nasty journalism?  Absolutely.  But then again, what do you expect from the Tribune?  Truth?  If you do, perhaps you are as liberal or deceived as the paper editors.  Keep your eyes open as the campaigns heat up for more bias in the entrenched media.  Remember, the cattle processing plant isn't the only odor-generating operation in North Greeley.

Vaad: Liberal

Incumbent Glenn Vaad from Colorado House District 48 recently responded to information released by the Colorado Conservative Union (www.coloradoconservativeunion.org), showing a lackluster 33% conservative rating.  According to Vaad, a Republican, the rating was derived from 18 bills and votes, while he has voted on several hundred during his term in office.

Representative Vaad reponded to a flyer while at a local Republican breakfast.  When questioned about specific issues, Vaad was ambiguous in his responses.  SB07-060 (which he supports) requires healthcare professionals to promote abortion drugs as a form of contraceptive.  Vaad pointed out that the bill held an exemption clause in it.  HB07-1301 (which Vaad also supported) uses taxpayer dollars to provide cervical cancer vaccinations for young girls.  Vaad pointed out the health benefits of such a program, and said individuals could also opt out of this program.  When questioned about the quickly emerging health risks caused by the vaccine itself, he stated he was unaware and would have to study it further.

Vaad was also challenged concerning his support of HB07-1313, which made it easier for illegal aliens to get drivers licenses and other services by expanding ID requirements to include non-secure identification. This bill was deemed so repulsive liberal Colorado governor Bill Ritter later vetoed the measure after an angry outcry from Coloradoans. Vaad was challenged further as to what he was doing to crack down on illegal immigration at a state level.  His response? He and others were studying it.

While Republicans, Independents and many Democrats across Colorado are seeking to rein in government regulation and spending, Vaad’s voting record has expanded both.  Vaad’s support of these measures and Referendum C has worked hand-in-hand with pro-union, socialist Democrats to push more government and higher taxes into the wallets and lifestyles of Colorado residents.  Dispensing contraceptives for abortion use, and vaccinating 13 year old girls for cancers (caused at least in part by sexual promiscuity) are now state-run issues because of his votes.  This is far from conservative; it’s blatantly liberal under the guise of social responsibility. Colorado deserves true two-party representation, and Representative Vaad’s Republican badge blinds Northern Colorado voters who only look at party labels in the ballot box.  His record taxes, spends and regulates the lives of his constituents.  It’s time for a change.

Politically Correct Parade Stinks

NOTE:  This was contributed by a teen who was directly involved in the parade and one of the floats.

In recent years the Greeley Stampede Committee has begun to place several different restrictions on the July 4th parade that have made people angry.  One of them is the ban on candy-throwing (allegedly because people have threatened to sue after injuries received).  Another was implemented just this year, that is especially horrifying.  The Stampede Committee decided not to allow any campaign posters or advertising to be on any of the political party floats.  It appears the Stampede thinks them too political, and does not want politics to be a part of the Independence Day celebration.

I think we must all agree that Independence Day is a very political holiday.  It was on this day in 1776 that a few brave men stood up to a tyrant over policies that they knew were wrong.  Why then, would any committee wish to take politics out of this holiday's celebration?  I submit to you that this exclusion seeks to whittle away at the core of the Holiday's spirit.  If we allow this and other outrages to continue the date of July 4th will cease to be a holiday.  It will merely become another date on the calendar.

Sexual Perverts Target Northern Colorado

The smear campaign has begun.  A 527 organization known as "Defenders of Wildlife" has begun targeting Republicans Marilyn Musgrave and Bob Schaeffer with misleading ads linking them to "big oil."  These two are allegedly for robbing wildlife of their habitat, so that they use resources to make life better for humanity.

Who is behind this 527 group anyway?  First, it's quite easy to follow the tracks to the folksy-looking, slick-talking liberal socialist democrat Mark Udall camp.  His "down home wife" Maggie is a corporate attorney for the Sierra Club, defender of animals everywhere.  While the price of oil soars, the caribou roam protected under their benevolent and watchful eyes.  Under the guise of protecting the environment, the advertising attacks both Musgrave and Schaeffer without cause, since both take a balanced approach to energy and environmental issues.

However, perhaps the largest contributor to the "Defenders of Wildlife" hate speech is none other than perverse homosexual millionaire, Tim Gill.  While Gill may care about animals, he despises Marilyn Musgrave.  To date he has pumped more than $10 million into campaigns to try and defeat her.  While this debaucherous animal of a different sort pretends to tolerate all of humanity, he has set his sights on bringing down two solid conservatives who support mainstream American views.

This unholy alliance between liberal democrats and homosexual militants is becoming more and more apparent.  From finances leaking into the Vaad campaign (see article in June, 2008), to Jim Reisberg's support of SB200 (which gave transgendered persons access to opposite sex restrooms and shower facilities), it's all a push to force blatant homosexuality on the rank and file American.  There's a great deal of perverse money passing under the radar.  And much of it is flowing from the hands of Tim Gill and his cronies to support liberal Democrats and their wimpy Republican counterparts who have laid down their values.  The solution is found in you the reader taking a stand at the ballot box and voting your values before perversion is forced upon you.
