Musgrave Endorsed By Liberal Newspaper

Surprise, surprise, surprise!  A reader of the Greeley Report alerted us to a startling development in Colorado news.  The Denver Post has endorsed Rep. Marilyn Musgrave this year instead of her liberal Democratic challenger.  This is a first by the Post, as they pointed out her ag-related support and work in congress during this past term.  Apparently Musgrave is a stronger candidate, or the Democrat is remarkably weak.

Now for a little pondering on my part.  Is this a newfound flash of wisdom on the part of "The Post?"  I suspect not.  Perhaps the Markey campaign is about to go down in a flash of smoke and mirrors.  Perhaps opponents are discovering that behind the values liberals hate there is a multi-faceted public servant in Rep. Musgrave.  Will other liberals take notice and follow suit?  Probably not.  That would be asking too much.
