Just Say No

Sam Hill has learned of the local RINO's efforts to put together a candidates boot camp for future elections.  This is nothing more than a veiled attempt for the liberals in the Republican ranks to screen out true conservatives, and try to push those who are easily led to discard freedom and values before they ever step into the political race.  The cast of players behind this is the same:  Jerke, Eckersley, Williams, Tom Tom and Kay Kay, with some others.

However, Sam Hill wants to address all future candidates from this region.  These are tough political days.  At every level government is getting bigger and freedom is shrinking.  Communism is encroaching.  Pure capitolism is laying bloody in the streets.  And something must be done.

When we vote you into office, you represent our beliefs, our values.  We are voting you in so that you will say no!  No to spending.  No to more laws (just enforce or repeal the ones we have).  No to studies, taxes, fees, bipartisan efforts, and getting along.  You need to be a pit bull if necessary, not a sheep.  You may be new to the political arena, but you weren't voted in to be nice, raise taxes, or work with liberals.  You were hired to work against them.

If you must say yes to something, you need to say yes to cutting taxes, eliminating laws and restrictions, yes to citizens owning and carrying firearms at will, yes to small business, farming and ranching, yes to reintroduction of multiple views and free choice in education (instead of only liberal, pro-Darwin, pro-Ward Churchill indoctrination).  You need to say yes to the foundations of America which were Judeo-Christian and non-Muslim, non-Buddhist, non-Animist, non-tree-hugging, non-enviro-worship, and non-restrictive.  You may smile, nod, and listen.  But when it comes time for you to vote, you must remember that your job is to defend America and her way of life, not sell it down the river because you want people to like you.

If you forget this, we will vote your sorry butt out of office.  We will find another freedom-loving American to take your place.  Someone has to stand against Obama, Ritter, the local liberal school board, and the amoral crap heads in various cities and townships.  That someone is you.  Vote no early, and vote it often.  You will be hated, written about, interrogated and even questioned over every belief you have.  But don't worry.  The annals of history will bear out your decisions as those that rescued the United States in her dark hours.  We are looking to you to disrupt, disssect and dismantle socialism, not build it.  Now stick to your job and remember who supports you as you go....and vote no.

Confused About Service?

Sam Hill used to be confused when he heard the term "service" used with these agencies.

• Internal Revenue Service
• U.S. Postal Service
• Health and Human Services
• City, State and County Service
• Legislative, Executive and Judicial Service

This is not what I thought service meant.  But recently I overheard a couple of local ranchers talking.  One of them said he had hired a bull to service a few of his cows.  Bam!  It hit me!  Now I know what these agencies are doing!

Destroying His Opposition

Obama has nominated a liberal, constructionist judge to the U.S. Supreme Court.  He hates traditional America.  Furthermore, he loves to destroy his enemies.  According to the research done by Scribd (here's the link) his cronies are closing Chrysler dealerships which contributed to Republicans or Hillary and John Edwards.  This is a malicious act of violence against Americans and must be stopped.  Freedom is under fire, and your job or business could be next.

Well Done Veterans

Impostor-in-chief Obama wouldn't bother stopping by the graves of our fallen service men and women while in Europe.  But Sam Hill honors you as well as those who have given their lives so that blogs like this one can be written with freedom and confidence.  To the military on active duty, the veterans who have served well, and those who are considering serving for our freedoms, Sam Hill respects you greatly.

Sam despises RINO's like Colin Powell, military haters like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, and of course the current impostor sitting in the president's seat.  Sam hates it when bureaucrats run wars.  Sam relishes freedom, the right to keep and bear arms for all citizens, and the true soldier doing the job in the field.  Sam also believes there are a great number of like-minded people out there who believe the same way.  On this Memorial Day Monday, we salute you.  Thank you is never enough.  But thanks just the same.

Boring!

Sam Hill decided to check out the Lib Trib the other day and received a dose of daily disappointment.  What was the problem?  Simply this.  It was boring!

Obama is behaving like a true socialist, closing family-owned auto dealerships and other companies without compensation (while giving these businesses away to international companies).  Markey, Riesburg and others are raising taxes and fees without a hint of complaint from the "so-called fair and impartial media."  Many local republicans are behaving like democraps, District 6 is spending money and arguing with teachers while they blacklist interested parents and hire their own.  Muslims and local bankers are implementing sharia law in Greeley.  And yet the Lib Trib has nothing meaningful to say about these things.

How interesting that our local journalists have sunk so low, become so stupid, and fail to report anything from the socially conservative right.  They are so skewed in their reporting, they could be charged with substance abuse.  (For those of you who were educated in public schools, you may have to think about that one for a minute.)  Sam is finding good reason to abandon the Lib Trib.  They abandoned truth a long time ago.

Not A Tax, But A Fee

Komrade Ritter is raising your fees, while claiming that he doesn't want to raise taxes.  For example, he and his fellow socialists (including Grandpa Jim Riesburg) will be raising your license plate fees by an average of $40 per vehicle.  That's right $40.

But that's not all.  If you are late in registering your rig, you will pay an additional $100 on top of that!  If your temporary tags expire, if you register your vehicle after the 30 day grace period, or if you wait more than 90 days to change your license over from your prior state, Socialist Bill and his cronies take $100 more from your wallet.  But it's not a tax, it's a fee.

You see, Komrade Ritter wants to help you be more responsible.  He wants to help you clean up your act.  And when you do, he won't get that extra money anyway.  So he will raise taxes eventually anyway.  Did you vote for him?  Did you vote for socialist Riesburg?   If so, perhaps you can pay my share of the bill, too.  I didn't want this change, but evidently you did.  Sam Hill warned you.  Did you listen?

Rewarding Failure

School District 6 and the teachers union are at an impasse.  The union wants more, and the district is offering less.  Of course it's all about money, pay increases, retirement and benefits.  But the deeper issue Sam Hill wants to see addressed is why a failing system should be rewarded.  When district 6 performance is compared to home schoolers, charter schools and private schools, it is absolutely disgusting.  Of course the old arguments will be made that they have to accept everyone into their ranks (but so do home and charter schools).  They argue that they are underfunded (but home schoolers pay their own way.  So do private schools.  And charter schools are the step-children of any school district...they are constantly underfunded and still perform better.).

Let's face it.  As tax slaves we are constantly being pushed to pay for failing government.  The educational system is a shining example of that.  The current system (including the entrenched elite running district 6) needs to be completely abandoned.  Power should be decentralized and given back to the parents (along with the money spent for each student).  Then we will see true education and advancement return.  Until then, all of these arguments about how much of a pay increase to give a failing system is pure garbage.  People are being laid off all over the place.  It's about time the local government felt the heat and saw the light themselves.

Why Tell The Truth When You Can Lie?

The Democraps have lied to further their agenda, and then tried to tell us the end justifies the means.  Rick Stradlof, a liberal democrat masqueraded as Rick Duncan, a democratic veteran.  He appeared in several ads attacking republican candidates and supporting democrats such as Udall, Markey and Obama.  Now they are elected and he is exposed as an impostor and a liar.

What do these candidates do?  They support the man because he was able to articulate a message they wanted.  He lies and they love it!  Sam Hill thinks he should be shot as a traitor, and the candidates that used his lies should be impeached from public office.  You are known by the quality of your friends and acquaintances.  Or at least you should be.  But Markey has lied, Obama has lied.  Even Udall has lied.  I guess we shouldn't be surprised.  And if you voted for any of these folks, you are lying to yourself, to me, and to America.  Are you willing to change your vote now?  If so, get ready for the next cycle of elections.  This democrap and his lies are going to have repercussions.

Something Smells In District 6

Doug Lidiak has been selected to fill a vacancy on the District 6 school board.  Who is he?  Well, he ran a software company that tracked student grades and performance.  He has sold his company and hasn't been directly involved recently.  But Sam Hill finds it interesting that District 6 didn't want fresh blood.  What they wanted was an insider.

Parents, District 6 doesn't want you, your diversity nor your input.  What they want is your children, from womb to tomb.  They want your tax dollars your children represent.  They want their liberal agenda, their socialistic ideals, their Obama support, and their power over your lives.  That's why they didn't choose you as a board member.  They chose an insider.  They get it.  Do you?

Low Quality Socialism In Colorado

According to government statistics $2 billion dollars (yes, with a "b") of "stimulus money" (ripped out of your life and bank account) will be given to the state of Colorado by the benevolent dictators at the federal level.  They claim this will provide jobs in the state.  For example, the state will now have to hire 7 full-time employees on your tax dollar, to track these funds.

The average stimulus job (besides the 7 government slaves) costs $97,000 to create.  Could you create a job paying $97,000 in wages and benefits in your business?  I suspect you could create two for that cost.  This is one of the problems with embracing socialistic practices.  The government always costs more than the private sector to do less-efficient, lower-quality work.  These jobs also come with strings attached.  For example, many of the education jobs require you go through federal demands to get the jobs.  These jobs are often in areas that work with social services, special needs children, etc.  And people who are presently doing these jobs may have to be released, and then may have to reapply under the new criteria!

Some school superintendents are actually refusing the money because of the strong socialistic overtones.  Others are taking the money and the hook, like a fish looking for bait.  Call your school board member and demand to know what is happening in your neighborhood.  Call your city council member, your county commissioner and state legislator.  Demand that they stand against the welfare state.  Comrade Obama is changing the USSA.  Few people are calling these issues socialism, but that's what it is, and it's right here in Colorado.

We're Fine. Really.

Well, well.  Greeley just lost a dumpster full of revenue mostly through sales tax and property tax declines.  But not one job was cut.  True, it's being proposed that they don't give salary increases for awhile, but beyond that it's business as usual for the city folk.  Look for permit fees, traffic tickets, and the basic costs for city services to increase this year as well.  But no cutting back.  No sir!

So, what's wrong with this picture?  Could it be that the entitlement mentality is alive in Greeley?  Could it be that we see government at the local level as the benevolent caretaker?  Probably so.  But sooner or later the government is going to have to make some hard choices at the city level.  Foreclosures are in danger of going through the roof again this Summer.  And commercial real estate is struggling, too.  Then you have the ghost town of the Greeley Mall, and other vacancies throughout the city that are paying zero sales tax revenue.  It paints a bleak picture for the coming months.

This is why Sam Hill thinks tax and spend Tom Norton is a poor choice for Greeley Mayor.  Greeley needs to be cutting, saving, eliminating government stupidity and not adding to it.  Greeley needs a frugal business leader who will say no to that new copy machine, and keep the old one running.  Someone who will cut jobs and services if necessary, so that Greeley will exist 20 years from now.  If not, we will be a safe haven for gangs and illegals who suck services dry, while we run good people and businesses out of town.  If you don't think local elections matter, think again.  Greeley, you have some challenges and it's time for you to face them head-on.

Beware The Tom

Several cronies have been working actively to move Republican values left in Northern Colorado.  Among them are Jim Eckersley and his spousal unit Tambor Williams, and former Weld County Commissioner citizen Bill Jerke.  Jerke runs the "how to shift us left" luncheon at the Rio on a weekly basis, where dialogue centers on how to be respectful of leftists while alienating rightists.

Another scrappy RINO in the bunch is Tom Selders, er Norton.  (Sorry.  Sam Hill was mistaking Norton for the former mayor Greeley, Tom Selders, who was once a Republican in name only, but turned Democrat instead.)  Norton has declared his intentions to run for the position of Greeley Mayor.  This would be bad news for the area.  While Norton hasn't said much yet (stay tuned), we do know that he has a record of liking taxes and increases, and keeping large-scale government large and feeding off of your money.  His wife also likes perversity (or diversity), and taking your money to pay for the education of illegals at her liberal bastion of UNC (she's president and chief socialist there, you know, who hates having legal citizens who carry guns on her campus....but is very tolerant and accepting of lawbreakers).

We know that the Nortons like to hang out with the Eckersley/Williams and Jerke group.  And you know what they say about birds of a feather.  Well, they are flocking.  Of course they will give us the old line about how we need to adjust our views to attract people into our big, crappy tent, and how freedom-loving people need to compromise.  They will try to appear inclusive (while they secretly hate true conservatives).  They will try to "dialogue."  What Sam is looking for is someone who will defend the rights and freedoms of Americans, not illegals.  Someone who will give money back to the citizen, not continue to take more.  None of these people appear interested in doing either one of those things.  So, my friends, beware the Tom.  Beware the RINO's.  And prepare to listen to a lot of stupid things coming out of their mouths.  The election season is about to begin again.

Montana Rocks!

No, Sam Hill isn't talking about that little liberal, gushy, homo-loving, Disney-created Hannah Montana chick.  Sam is talking about the recent developments in the state of Montana's gun laws.  Basically, the governor just signed a bill into law that tells the Federal government to butt out of state gun rights.  The Feds can't touch firearms and/or ammo that is manufactured within the state.  There will be no firearms registration, serial numbers, background criminal checks, waiting periods or paperwork required.  Imagine that!  True freedom has been signed into law once again.

Sam suspects the crime rate in Montana will actually drop because of the new law.  Sam also applauds the courage of a few freedom-loving westerners who have the guts to accept the rights given to the states.  They have thumbed their noses at the heavy-handed tactics of the ATF and other freedom-stealing groups.  They have also laughed in the faces of liberal pantywaists like Bill Ritter and his cronies, who spend their time stealing liberties, breaking laws, raising taxes, loving rodents, playing around with cute chicks in public offices, and ripping off Colorado taxpayers.  Montana knows liberty; Ritter knows socialism!  It almost makes Sam want to move north.

He Did Too

Yesterday was the National Day of Prayer and Obama did nothing about it.  True, he signed the annual proclamation.  But he said that he prayed in private (probably bowing toward Mecca).  I think he looked in the mirror, prayed to himself (after all, he is the One) while he was shaving, and that's about all the praying he did.  He says he honors America and it's values.  But he doesn't honor America's God, wear flag pins, or do anything that is from our national heritage.  He's a hypocrite that is bent on destroying America as we know it, and yesterday's behavior is one more indicator of his path.

Run Cory, Run

Colorado Republican Cory Gardner of Yuma has announced he will run against Betsey Markey for House District 4 in the 2010 election cycle.  This is good news for conservatives and bad news for Markey.  She has repeatedly broken her campaign promises to be fiscally responsible (and she's irresponsible already in nearly every other area).  She is ready for us to vote her back into the private sector.

However, Gardner will have to run against Tom Lucero in the republican primary.  This shouldn't be much of an issue either.  Lucero is such a RINO that his views should become easily apparent early in the race.  Gardner is a pretty good guy.  He will probably have Sam Hill's vote when the election season rolls around.

Lawbreakers Yes; Citizens No

In yet another display of stupidity a Colorado judge ruled that college students who may legally own firearms may not carry them concealed on campus if issued a permit.  Meanwhile, every lawbreaker and thug can carry on campus, because they don't care about the law.  To them gun free zones are merely places for them to wreak death and destruction.  Sleep well, Colorado!

Really We're Fine

The figures are in, and Greeley/Evans housing is in dire straits.  Of course we don't talk about why that is the case, but Greeley/Evans housing has plunged in value.  Nobody bothers to talk about the illegals who purchased houses and then decided to move away in the night (and Sam Hill personally knows a couple of these cases).  No one talks about the liberals who demanded that rules be changed to allow people to buy houses who were completely undisciplined.  Nobody talks about the suppression of wages by illegals and other issues in NoCo that keep people in a financial straitjacket while prices and fees continue to rise.

No, it's just another case of stupid reporting by the Lib Trib, instead of examining the issues behind it all.  Do we really want to change things, or do we just want to be selfish and fine?  Sam suspects the latter.  But as jobs are strained by more regulation from the liberals in the Colorado statehouse, as oil and gas taxes drop and Weld County is squeezed even more, you can bet it's going to become your problem.  Think about some things long and hard.  Difficulties are coming to a township near you.  It's not over yet.

Liberal Sizzle, Fizzles

The much-anticipated pro-lawbreaking illegal alien march this past weekend didn't turn out to be much of a bang.  (It was more like a belch.)  The local pathetic whiners couldn't get a major demonstration off the ground, so they bussed a few liberals from regional communes into Greeley, to rant with fellow lawbreakers in this area.  Of course the mantra was along the "we are the world" theme, and the unity was disgusting.

The Lib Trib covered the display of liberalism with appalling joy.  The plight of the "undocumented workers" (who all stole their documents from others) was once again shared.  But not one person was interviewed whose life was made a living hell because their documents and identities were stolen by a lawbreaker.  No mention was made of the jobs being taken from legal American citizens by lawbreakers, nor was the fact that underground violence is actually perpetuated by illegals simply because they are afraid to go to authorities with crime reporting due to their status.

Of course you, the reader of Greeley Report, generally recognize the bias.  But there are a few of you out there who undoubtedly need to be informed.  So, we point these things out today in the hopes that you will actually learn something.  After all, this march was supposed to be significant.  It was supposed to be the forward wave of a new global trend.  Instead, it recycled hippies and socialists into a new cause, while they were symbolic in their love.  Stupid heads, empty hearts, and pathetic causes all came together into a little cesspool of sign waving and cheers.  They thought they had accomplished great things for society.  But today, nothing has changed because of it.  Such is the life of the liberal.

Jerke....Jerked

This weekend citizen Bill Jerke announced he would not be seeking the 4th congressional district seat present held by liar Betsey Markey.  However, he will continue holding his weekly luncheons at the Rio, to develop the field of RINO's in this area.  This is great news for true conservatives who think the Republican party already has a platform, and can provide a clear choice to the hypocrisy presently in office.

Jerke's views wouldn't have provided much of a difference to Markey, so his departure from the race is good news to conservatives and bad news for liberals.  Sam Hill told you of Jerke's intentions months ago, and you haven't heard a word of this in the Lib Trib.  Why?  Because it's bad news for their views!  Long live conservatism and freedom!

Stupid Is In

The upcoming "unity march" to promote support of illegal aliens is a definite indicator of today's trend.  Sam Hill believes that smart is out, and stupid is in.  Go anywhere today and you will see the signs.  Tolerance accepts perverse, dumb, even ignorant views.  But the views of intelligent, solid Americans are not tolerated.  American classrooms are pushing away healthy competition, tests, and excellence so that "everyone can be included without discrimination."  Even in some religious circles the "God loves everyone" mantra is being chanted like the cult-following koolaid drinkers of old.  Government has to cater to the lowest common denominator, not the innovative and productive.  Even Obama touched the stupid.  After all, he was elected by something besides the intelligent and free-thinking in America!

Yes, stupid is in.  But there's a problem with that.  You see, stupid may make good bureaucrats and welfare recipients, but they don't run farms and ranches, invent products, run businesses, and develop excellence.  No, they prey on the intelligent while they secretly hate them.  When the stupid come to power, the intelligent are wise enough to keep their heads down until things get bad enough for life to change again.  How long will this take?  Who knows?  Perhaps the stupid media will tell us.  Perhaps it will be the next crisis or "unity march" that will awaken our society.  Until then, wise ones, keep your heads down and work like crazy.  Your time is coming, and soon!
