Again, thanks to sources that provided this information to Greeley Report.
Last week Greeley Report divulged data the Stampede Committe doesn't want you to know. Not only has their highly-controlled, liberally organized July 4th parade turned into a milquetoast walk down a hot street, but now it has become clear they despise free-speech and the U.S. Constitution. They charge groups involved with politics twice the amount they charge others to be in the parade, on July 4th weekend, the celebration season that gave birth to politics and local government in the United States!
Quite frankly, the Stampede won't do anything about their policies...yet. However, more locals are seeing through their liberal facade, and deserting the Stampede in droves. Last year they charged at the door for admissions. This year they will likely do the same once again. They like free speech and capitalism as long as it takes your money and transfers it to their organization. But what about when the shoe is on the other foot?
You see, the Stampede Committee works with sponsors that provide them with funding. Many of these sponsors are large companies, but there are several local businesses included in their ranks as well. Perhaps efforts should be made to contact the local supporters of the liberal Stampede, and demand to know why they would support such an unfair, biased, and divisive organization. Money still talks, and the Stampede needs it. Of course the Lib Trib supports the Stampede and you won't get anywhere talking with them. But try others on the list, and see what they say about their support of liberals and Demoncrats, and their opposition to free speech rights. I find it amazing, in this day and age, that these fools are willing to get on a float in the first place.
Do they never look at the poor and hungry eyes that are staring at them??
Of course not; they're locked into their own little trip. I doesn't matter to them, but they will wake-up soon because if you haven't notice, the American Spring has started!
We have our elected officials and Obama to thank for that.
But that's not true is it? It's the fault of people like Rey, greeleygirl, Dennis, idiot hunter, Brett Reese, and me, Powerball.
Well, at least we're fighting among ourselves for the sake of an ideology, a leader we think or don't think is a good one, but all the while it is us that are losing ground. Can't buy a house, $4.00 gas, doubling of food costs, killing of inocents over seas, bailing out private industry, exaggerated costs for everything, sending tax dollars to people that hate us, kids that can no longer afford to go to school, the list goes on and on.
But there are chumps that will plant their asses on a float and wave AT us because they don't have a clue and they really don't care either so long as we will vote for them, buy a car from them, sell us over priced energy and food, and pretend to be concerned about our healthcare.
You can say I'm wrong if you must, but to do that with honesty you must point to a fact, not just name call.
Otherwise, where is your seat on the float?
Surely they didn't just overlook you did they?

The parade is free, Dennis. You're not that poor.

I started boycotting the "Stampede" 3-4 years ago. It is not what it used to be. Nor is Greeley. I find it all quite a bore, and much too expensive.
Greeley politics? Hah! How dowdy. It's easy enough to move from this cowtown and all of the self-important "big-wigs" that couldn't buy an office in any other town.

"But try others on the list, and see what they say about their support of liberals and Demoncrats, and their opposition to free speech rights."
Somebody still doesn't know much about what "free speech rights" are. Greeley Report, where Brett Reese demonstrates his ignorance regularly.

Good! Keep ALL politicians OUT of the parade. The political groups don't have ANY "right" to be in the parade.
Pay the fee and quit whining. They can charge anything they want.
The Stampede is doing its part to keep the event apolitical.
that's the way it should be.
