Who Is Racist Now?

Last week Barack Obama decided to do something about immigration reform.  On Thursday he met with a coalition of "influential Hispanics," to discuss fixing the system.  His staff said the discussion was going to focus on fostering a "constructive national conversation on this important issue."

So, who were the luminaries, the brain trust, that met with Obama?  They were none other than actress Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives star), actresses Rosario Dawson and America Ferrera, Univision hosts Don Francisco and Maria Elena Salinas, and the anchors of Telemundo, Vanessa Hauc and Jose Diaz-Balart.

Did Obama meet with the Governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer?  No!  Did he call to meet with Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck, who has personally seen hundreds of itentity theft cases cross his desk?  No.  Obama met with movie stars and talking heads.  No whites, blacks, or Asians.  Just hispanics.  And then he tells us that we should not be racist or play games with issues.  What a hypocrite.

If immigration is broken and needs fixed Obama should be talking with the people that matter, including legal immigrants, state governors and attorney generals, law enforcement officers, and others that are on the front lines.  This was nothing more than eye-candy and politics as usual.  Perhaps our Weld County officials should meet with Eva Longoria as well.  After all, if she's a Federally recognized subject matter expert...  Nah.  It was just Obama cozying up to the liberal and beautiful once again.

The reason Obama met with Eva is that he wants to be invited to her wedding. He was snubed at the Royal Wedding and that was sooooooo painful for him and Mrs. Obama.........Boo Hoo..........

CIA and DEA have gun and drug operations, this has been proven time and time again. To be honest, they need some competition however this will be difficult because it would require an extensive army to gain entry to the illegal drug and gun market that the CIA and DEA currently control. They do indeed have the monopoly.

I had an interesting conversation we a gentleman who has lived in Ciudad Juarez for the last 12 years. He indicated that perceptions of the border issue there are vastly different than here in the USA. This is not a surprise in itself. The rest of what he had to say holds the real surprise.

The perception South of the border is that the US government is selling weapons to the drug cartels. The drug cartels are selling drugs into the USA while the DEA, Border Patrol and FBI all look the other way. The perceived corruption in the Mexican government is mirrored by the US government. The market is "too big to fail", so stopping the sale of illicit drugs into the USA would have huge economic consequences.

Prior to living in Ciudad Juarez, this gentleman lived in the mountains above Lima Peru for many years and traveled extensively between Lima Peru and Dallas TX. He indicated that a vast majority of cocaine sold into the USA is processed in Columbia in a huge factory-like facility that is within walking distance of the USA's largest military installation in the area.

Mexican president Felipe Calderon is part of the right-wing party that has gone to war with the drug cartels. Vicente Fox, left-wing simply taxed the drug trade and co-existed. This is why the drug wars have been chaotic and increasing since 2006. Without illicit drug trade Mexico's economy would collapse.

If you think our government wants border security, think again. Don't you think that if our government wanted our Southern border secured, that it would be secured? Ever wonder why nothing gets done about securing our Southern border?

Still trust the government?

The gentleman who gave me this information has been a Catholic Priest for 50 years. He's radically left wing. When he was younger he wanted to be known as a "Marxist-Catholic". He spent a majority of his life as an activist, protesting US military action in South America (Iran-contra scandal). He currently is retired and has no political agenda. He just wants peace.

Obama is in full bore reelection mode. Rather than govern, he is sucking up. Every action is about reelection rather than good government. Reelection and good government are often contradictory. Hence the reason for term limits, contrary to local pundits such as Shields and Cooke.
