Liberal socialist Demoncrat Jim Riesberg (of House District 50 infamy) is term-limited, and the Demoncrats know it. So, what do they do? They appoint him to a bureaucratic government job that will oversee socialized health care and insurance for the state of Colorado. Effective July 1st Riesberg will no longer represent HD 50, but will be the state's new Commissioner of Insurance.
This is a significant political move, because John Postolowski has been interim commissioner since December. He has been with the Insurance Division for years and holds the current deputy position. He's qualified, but Riesberg is appointed. Why? Well, Riesberg has displayed his socialist ties with great aplomb through the years. This also gives the Demoncratic socialists the opportunity to try and advance another Demoncrat into this region by appointment. Names being tossed about include Ken Storck (who was severely beaten by Senator Scott Renfroe in the last race), Matthew Wells (currently on Evans City Council), Eric Rothaus (who worked under Colorado state treasurer Cary Kennedy), and David Delgado (Weld County Demoncratic Party chair).
While we will bid Riesberg goodbye at last, we will not be rid of him. Like many politicians before him, Riesberg has found a place, living off of you. The man who infamously promoted the "bathroom bill" and said that "your taxes are too low" is now an entrenched bureaucrat. This is why it's important that Republicans stop fielding weak, RINO candidates and start putting out true conservatives to run in opposition to liberals.

Ritter on to bigger paycheck on our back and Markey now entrenched. Reisberg off to do more damage with probably a bigger pay check. Too bad. Can you say "screwed?"

It all boils down to what role the government should play in our country. The most over-exploited passage in the Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, has served as the liberals "carte-blanche" to gain votes. It's as pure and simple as that.
Perhaps we should amend the amendment for clarification, in an effort to stop socialism and liberal spending. We are upon a financial crisis, and the odds are not good for the USD.

Just another socialist democrat on the congressional welfare system. Communism at its finest.
