Demoncratic Senator Mark Udall has started his reelection campaign. How do I know? The liberal senator has introduced legislation that would help "build safe shooting ranges." Udall is as liberal as they come in his social values. His wife has been legal council for the Sierra Club. They believe in nearly all things socialist. This is why his proposal (if you look more deeply) may involve more government control of shooting ranges if we aren't careful.
Basically, Udall's bill merely changes the amount of money passed from the Federal government to the State. Currently excise taxes are collected on sports equipment and ammunition. This is supposed to be allocated for "wildlife restoration and hunter education." Now if you see the vast overpopulation of elk around Estes Park, you can see what a stellar job the Federal government has done with this program (sarcasm intended).
Now Udall wants to take more Federal funds out of this pot, and send them to the state of Colorado. Currently the Federal system sends 75 percent to the state, and Udall wants that increased to 90 percent. Then, shooting ranges can be improved with "free money" from the government. And then Udall can stroll around among unsuspecting conservatives and tell us how "pro-gun" and "pro-Western" he is. But he isn't.
It's all about campaigning, folks. He's moving toward the right to try and suck us in, while he still believes in killing babies in the womb, a socialist agenda for society, and in the values his wife (and fellow lawyer) espouses. It still smells like socialist, government control, and it's coming to a shooting range near you.

Senator Udall is at it again along with Senator Bennet responding with form letters that don't answer concerns asked by constituents. I have posted 2 of them on my website here: http://www.jandklongphotography.com/mark-udall.html & here: http://www.jandklongphotography.com/michael-bennet.html After Representative Cory Gardner passed H.B. 2021 expediting drilling permits for the Outer continental shelf of Alaska I sent a letter to Udall asking him to give me a Yes or No answer whether he will vote for the bill when it reaches the senate. So far NO response. I also have posted photos of the gas prices at the Evans U-Pump-It station starting at the time Obama & our senators too office as well as 5 YouTube videos of Cory Gardner in action. See them here on my front page www.jandklongphotography.com

Legal council?

Right on Sam! And it's happening everywhere and in all shapes and sizes.
While Bono, of U2 fame, campaigns against poverty in the developing world, his group has avoided paying Irish taxes at a time when his austerity-hit country desperately needs money.
Ireland, which has already accepted an international bailout, is suffering through deep spending cuts, tax hikes and rising unemployment as it tries to pull the debt-burdened economy back from brink of bankruptcy."
All of these socialized, Udall, Bono, Obomanation, and the whole of the Federal government are creating a "Dog Eat Dog" economy. It's gotten so entrenched throughout the world the only solution is to collapse and start over.
You, dear reader, have five weeks before the government fails to reach an agreement on the debt ceiling and it collapses or they save their political butts and cut spending and raise your taxes just like everywhere else.
PRICES ARE GOING UP!!

rogers,
I did not read anywhere in this article that Sam Hill was advocating that the federal government send any money to the states. I understood it to warn people of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Politicians up to their same old tricks. Nowadays nothing is as it seems, except that politicians will be politicians. Smarmy.
