Reading publicly released border patrol reports can be an eye-opener. Considering the fact that Border Patrol agents are dealing with those they caught (and not the ones that got through), we should make this a larger issue than ever before. The U.S. averages 1 million legal immigrants a year into this nation. We don't need illegals; especially those that are from the ilk that are crossing our borders without documentation (and then steal from someone here that has legal papers). Consider this.
According to Border Patrol data, agents seized more than 13 thousand pounds of marijuana, 227 pounds of cocaine and 3 pounds of meth in the past 2 weeks. They also arrested 10 criminal aliens, and 14 gang members, including members of MS-13. The vast majority of these arrests occurred along our Southern border, but this focus also leaves our larger, northern border, as well as our costal shipping channels more vulnerable.
It should enrage you that Obama has turned this issue into a political football, and will not enforce the laws that are on the books. They may be confusing at times, but apparently they worked for at least a million people last year. We must tighten border security. Then we can begin the dialogue about how to bring in people that benefit this nation, instead of just allowing anyone to migrate. The world adds 80 million people each year to the population. Our paltry immigration plans may sound noble, if we think we are helping solve global population issues and world poverty, but we couldn't be further from the truth. Protect the USA now.
Everyday Obamanation is in office he does more damage to this country.
He should be removed from office BEFORE the 2012 elections.
