The Demoncrats are gunning for Colorado. State demoncrat Brandon Shaffer has announced his intention to run against Cory Gardner in 2012. There are probably a couple of reasons why he has announced so early. First, he's counting on the redistricting going the democrats way in the courts (which is where they wanted it in the first place, since the courts are so loaded with liberals in this state). Second, he sees Gardner as a weak candidate, which is what Greeley Report sees as well.
Many times the conservatives fight with the RINO's, who maintain a middle-of-the-road candidate can get more votes and actually get more done as a centrist. However, history disproves this. Every time some Republican gets into office and moves toward the middle, they lose. First, they lose integrity, and secondly, they also end up losing to the democrat. Why? Because there is not much difference between the two. Conservatives believe in freedom, and not an incremental enforcement of tyranny. The liberals get this on their side of the fence. Just look at the Obamunist they put into the Presidential office. He's anything but a moderate. So now it's on. Gardner versus Shaffer. The right had better pull out a better conservative, or they might have trouble.
RINO's will never learn that a true conservative will never vote for them a second time, and will actually throw their vote rather then swallow the bitter pill. We will only be fooled one time ONLY. Their excuses do not hold up, and the division of the party bennefits who?? They know they are going to get that retirement package and health care bennefits so what do they have to lose, or gain, just follow the money.
