Shirley,

You claim to be a conservative. I am a conservative. Have we found ANY one point on which to agree? I would then say, one of us is not a conservative.

I understand that I have misspelled a number of words, and even used words out of context. I willingly admit that, and try to grow to perfect my linguistics. I see this frequently on the internet, so I am not alone. So what, are you an English major or something?

I voice a lot of opinion, which I do not expect everybody to agree with. I might be as far right as anybody you have ever met. I have read the Holy Bible from cover to cover (the one with study helps, and I read all of them). It took me ten years, but I did not give up. I receive much ridicule, but I believe every word in the Bible to be God-inspired truth. Yes, the earth is no more than 10,000 years old. Yes the world was flooded, and all of the animals of the world were aboard Noah's Arc. Yes the world was created in 7, 24 hour days. Do I need to prove it? No. I believe it because I have faith. Is faith supposed to be easy? No. I heard a saying (actually saw it on a T-shirt); "What is courage, if you knew you couldn't fail?"

Shirley

I'm not against conservatism; I'm a conservative. I'm not against Judeo-Christian values; I'm a Christian. I'm merely against someone who claims to be both a conservative and Christian (and Constitutionalist) misrepresenting facts, history, and disregarding reason and logic. And, pointing out that the person making the silly arguments has trouble with facts and the language (is he an advocate of English as the "official language?"), I further discredit the silly arguments. This is the only strategy that remains when he refuses to confront my points, which is common.

And, again, who cares? I don't know Dennis. He doesn't know me. I'm not out to persuade anyone. I find it entertaining to badger and ridicule someone whose anger and biases drive him to make false statements.

Finally, I stand by my recommendation of Stripes. Sergeant Hulka, the Big Toe--it's great comedy.

Francis

When one's argument is so weak that it cannot be won on merit, one has to resort to name calling and personal insults. Pointing out others' grammatical errors may make one feel superior, but it does absolutely nothing to support an argument.

It is obvious that Dennis has struck a nerve with voicing his conservative viewpoints and his longing for the traditional Judeo-Christian values upon which this country was founded. I cannot understand why anyone would be against this frame of reference.

Shirley

Watch the movie "Stripes" for the Francis reference. It's a classic.

Dennis

....who's Francis?

Thanks Einstein! I know that I lack a lot of "polish", but other than that I tell the truth as I know it. I expect liberals to disagree with me.

Uhu

Shirley, when you attack on such trivialities it makes you seem petty and arrogant. While you may mean nothing by such attacks, you do a disservice to your own image on this sight, which is something you probably don't care about.

On another point, I find that enemies often ARE well intentioned people with different viewpoints. Hitler, Pol-Pot, and other genocidal dictators were well intentioned when they thought they would help along evolution and try to cure society of some of its ills by killing off millions of people. Even terrorists could be portrayed as well intentioned in trying to change society to conform to their ideals.

But any movement, thought pattern, or person who I according to my ideals consider to be destroying my home, family, or country I must count as an enemy, no matter how good their intentions. Actions, in the end, are what count.

Shirley

You can't infer something from your own statements. The speaker implies. The listener infers. Einstein was a scientist, and his first language wasn't English. Dennis used the wrong word. You can disagree, but you'd be wrong too.

I'm tired of anyone who so arrogantly asserts that liberals or Democrats are enemies, rather than well-intentioned people with different views; that all Muslims live by and require the imposition of sharia on all else and that, despite the two most populous Muslim countries, Islam is not a religion but a political system; that our president was born in Hawaii, that gays are ruining society, that 12 Jews in Switzerland are giving guns to drug cartels in Mexico and otherwise manipulating the world, etc. . . .

And, when the advocate of those positions makes error after error in logic, language, and fact, I enjoy ridiculing him. It's nothing personal, of course, since I don't know Dennis.

We're all irrelevant here. It's a dumb blog produced by a nut. Ironically, it has almost nothing to do with Greeley. Much like that beacon of 6th Grade journalism, the Greeley Gazette.

Lighten up, Francis. Be grateful, for you are conservative, Christian, white, from here, and exempt from all the criticism you level at others.

Einstein

The definition of infer according to dictionary.com:

1. to derive by reasoning; conclude or judge from premises or evidence: They inferred his displeasure from his cool tone of voice.
2. (of facts, circumstances, statements, etc.) to indicate or involve as a conclusion; lead to.
3. to guess; speculate; surmise.
4. to hint; imply; suggest.

It appears Dennis is not as dumb as you would like to think. Get over yourself, Shirley, you are bordering on irrelevancy. Reading your constant barrage of personal attacks on Dennis has become quite boring.

Shirley

Inferred or implied?

Dennis

Rey,

My cut and paste was reference. I inferred nothing personally.

Rey

No, Dennis--no personal insults from you. You just cut and paste them. Atta boy.

Dennis

A feminist, you are. That is clear.

That "nonsense"? How sad. What this remarkably intelligent young lady described was some of the moral fabric that made this country great.

I, again, will refrain from personal insults.

Shirley

Wife, that is. If she is wide, you paid too little.

Shirley

I hope my daughters reject that nonsense like I do. But, since I'm a feminist, I'll let them decide for themselves. I do hope you ask for forgiveness soon for all of the malice in your heart, Dennis. From which country did you order your wide?

Dennis

Shirley,

The next three posts are for you, compliments of Ann Barnhardt. Please read last post first, on through to first post (they are really making it difficult to plagiarize.

(I'm not a lesbian....., really)

I read this, and thought of you. You should read her website. She really is brilliant!

I appreciate masculine leadership qualities, intellect and social customs – on the extremely rare occasions that I see them anymore. Men should rise when a woman enters a room or joins a group. Men should remove their hats when greeting a woman. Men should open and hold doors for women. A man should never, ever watch a woman carrying something heavy by herself. OFFER to help. If your offer is declined, you are released, but you are obliged to offer because you are at least twice as strong as we are – and those of us who are psychologically normal have NO DESIRE to be as physically strong as you are because that would require physical grotesquery. We the normal don’t want to be grotesque – we want to be modestly beautiful, and we want to be beautiful FOR YOU, you morons.

And no, six dollar high-and-tight haircuts, fades, buzzcuts or officer’s cuts are NOT beautiful on females. They are creepy and tranny and wrong. And that goes double for nuns. You want a low-maintenance hair management system, Sister? It’s called a WIMPLE AND VEIL. It’s the perpetual bridal garment of those women espoused to Christ. Put it on so you stop scaring and confusing young children with your transvestitism, and generally weirding the rest of us out. We don’t think you’re cool and modern – we just think you’re creepy and pitiable. And get off the altar. The priesthood is the exclusive domain of men. Only a man can call down and hold Our Lord in his hands as He becomes totally vulnerable to humanity. Get in the nave, where you belong, on your knees in adoration and thanksgiving, and quit RUINING EVERYTHING for everyone else. YOU aren’t the center of the universe. Jesus is the center of the universe, so back off, sit down and shut up.

Dennis

And so, we have three basic groups of people inside the feminist milieu. We have the “third-gendered” quasi-females themselves, who are the core and driving force of the movement. We have women who have been indoctrinated and manipulated by the third-gendered types, and we have the men who have allowed themselves to be castrated by the third-gendered “wymyn” and the normal women and other gelded men who have fallen under their influence. In terms of numbers, which of these three groups is the largest? Without question, it is the men. The vast, vast majority of men in this culture have been psychologically gelded. They are powerless and impotent, unable to assert themselves or initiate any sort of meaningful action. They do not act – they watch. They do not speak – they pander. They do not defend – they capitulate. They do not assert – they grovel. They do not lead – they cower. And they do these things because they have been conditioned for their entire lives to believe that passive, cowering, groveling surrender is the standard of masculine morality. They have been taught that their masculinity is a disease that must be purged, or at least hidden and suppressed. They have been taught that masculinity itself is a sin. They have been taught this by the feminists, led by angry, bitter, jealous, physically grotesque (by their own choice) lesbians who have anointed themselves the pinnacle of humanity.

I’m sick of these nasty old hags, and I am sick of them daring to speak for me, or claiming to represent me. I am not a lesbian. I don’t hate men. I love them. A lot. (Calm yourselves, people. I am speaking corporately.) I appreciate masculine beauty – without having any desire whatsoever to be physically masculine myself. Why the hell do you think that I decided to wear pink peep-toe heels in that picture of me with my*pink* AR-15? Because I clearly see the intrinsic disorder and tension of a woman being forced to manifest masculine strength, and insist upon keeping myself tethered to the reality of my femaleness. In short, I know this is all messed up, but I’m not surrendering to the disorder. Yeah, I can throw down and kick @$$ if FORCED TO DO SO, but you lesbian feminist ogresses will take my femininity over my COLD DEAD BODY. In the words of Eowyn just before she slaughtered the Witch-king of Angmar on the Pelennor Fields,

Wherein Ann Unloads on Feminists (Part 1)
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 19, AD 2011 8:27 PM MST
Well, this hasn’t been a long time coming or anything. But, for everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven, quoth the Byrds, after Pete Seeger, after Qoheleth after God the Holy Spirit.

You know, I’ve had just about enough of these damn feminists. Last week there was a minor brou-ha-ha when Michele Bachmann was asked in a debate whether or not she, as president, would be submissive to her husband. This was a clear and obvious attack on Ephesians 5 wherein St. Paul once again reveals human marriage to be patterned directly off of the larger reality of the marriage of Christ, the Bridegroom, to the Church, His Bride. While it was a man who posed the question, the dripping scorn was a direct byproduct of a century of feminist indoctrination and undermining of our culture, and of morality itself.

The first thing we all need to do is examine and identify who feminists are, because this is what everyone dances around and no one wants to talk about – even though we all know the truth. But, if the truth is never, ever spoken or proclaimed, it is made inert. The Word of Truth MUST BE SPOKEN in order to be efficacious in the world. So, here goes:

-Feminists are angry, bitter, jealous, narcissistic, prideful, self-absorbed women who hate men and deeply resent their own femininity.

-Many feminists are lesbians, and thus, by definition, are suffering from massive and acute psycho-sexual disorder rooted in self-loathing.

-In addition to being lesbians, many feminists are also de facto transvestites.

-Feminists hate both authentic masculinity and authentic femininity, and desire to establish themselves as a third gender which dominates and is superior to the other two.

Dennis

Rey,

I respect your viewpoint as different than mine.

What I hear from my kids (and they are trustworthy) is different. What I see on the streets, at Walmart and Sams, conflicts with your viewpoint as well. I hope that you are right.

Rey

Dennis:

I don't know why you're so angry at children who left their homes because of war, but you really should see the kids I work with every day. They are respectful, eager to learn, and appreciative of the help we provide. Most of the refugees are from Somalia and Burma.

Shirley

I have no idea what an ecoplast is, but if the Jews and Muslims didn't cause it, the next suspects must be gays, immigrants, and liberals. We'll get to the bottom of this.

Dennis

"Enter through the narrow gate, For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and man enter through it."

Matthew 7:13

"It gave me great joy to have some brothers come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth."

3 John 1:3

Dennis

Steve,

Oh please tell me, why did EcoPlast fail?

Steve

Dennis: Ecoplast did not fail because of Muslims or Jews. However, your narrow mindedness will be forgiven.

Dennis

Rey,

You are out of line!

How can you quote scripture, in partial and misrepresented context and throw it in my face, as if I don't know any better.

You are wrong about MANY foreign students. Your claim is the opposite of the truth. And I will speak the truth. I will not hide behind political correctness. I read your statement, about foreign students, to my kids and they just laughed. They said that many of the Mexican and Korean students display a willingness to learn, but many of the Mexican and Somalian students are not only disinterested, but quite obstinate; daring and challenging teachers, with profanity, on a regular basis.

You are wrong about the Constitution as well. Let me tell you that Europeans settled this country. Christians. Now who do you think these Christians meant when they referred to God? Their perspective was Catholicism vs. Protestant. Tell me I'm wrong! What was the prevailing religious issue in Europe when this country was founded? islamist terrorism? Their perspective was ENTIRELY from a Judeo-Christian viewpoint. I have no doubt that they intended ALL religions be freely practiced. I also have no doubt that they could not have perceived of 3000 innocent Americans dying at the hand of islam.

I think clearly. I deal in truths. I will not be bullshitted by socio-liberal agenda.

If it quacks like a duck.....
