Greeley Report recently spoke with a stock broker that wishes to remain anonymous. He has owned his own brokerage and been highly successful in life. As you know, the financial debacle in Greece has pushed the U.S. markets and others into mood swings with breathtaking highs and lows, based on whether people "feel" that the E.U. members will actually ratify the death-grip bailout package. Quite frankly, it looks pretty grim to me.
When Greeley Report posed the question to the broker about where to place investments in this volatile market, the answer received was not pleasant. His reply? "If the present administration continues in power, your best bet would be canned goods, bottled water, a reliable portable generator, a decent gun, and a supply of ammunition."

But Obama is now seeking to use that new power to obtain a taxpayer-financed stimulus that Congress won’t approve. The idea is to cap student loan repayment rates at 10 percent of a debtor’s income that goes above the poverty line, and then limiting the life of a loan to 20 years.
Take this example: If Suzy Creamcheese gets into George Washington University and borrows from the government the requisite $212,000 to obtain an undergraduate degree, her repayment schedule will be based on what she earns. If Suzy opts to heed the president’s call for public service, and takes a job as a city social worker earning $25,000, her payments would be limited to $1,411 a year after the $10,890 of poverty-level income is subtracted from her total exposure.
Twenty years at that rate would have taxpayers recoup only $28,220 of their $212,000 loan to Suzy.
The president will also allow student debtors to refinance and consolidate loans on more favorable terms, further decreasing the payoff for taxpayers.

Were's rule of law?

Powerball,
You are right on the money! There is so much wrong with this country right now that it practically overwhelms the reasonable mind, as to why? Why? How can a majority of the population be so completely stupid as to vote into the office of president a person that could be viewed in one of two ways 1) Totally inept, ignorant and stupid; or 2) An enemy of the USA.
...as to the article, I echo that sentiment (and THANK YOU).

Wrath at Germans Highlights Greek Despair
(Reuters) - The dark shadow of German-driven austerity measures squeezing Greece has revived historical enmities and evoked comparisons to the massive destruction of the Mediterranean country at the hands of Nazi Germany over 65 years ago.
Cartoons have sprung up depicting the European Union's "troika" as ferocious soldiers in World War Two German uniforms, and some Greeks are beginning to resent the German tourists flocking their ancient sites.
The staff cartoonist for the liberal daily Eleftherotypia has drawn dozens of such cartoons in recent months, often showing Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos giving the Nazi salute "Sieg Heil" (Hail Victory) to a soldier.
....65 years ago; really. So the people who were alive then, in their 20's-30's, must only be 65-95 years old today. Surely these German senior citizens, who lived and paid retributions to Greece already, could work a few years longer so these young Greeks can receive 35-65 years of pensions for 30 years of government work. If they won't bailout Greece (or can't because their to old) the Greeks will reach down into their bowels and barf-up Nazism.
Remember the black panthers at the voting booth in 2008, "We're not going to let anyone get in the way of electing a black president." What did Obamanation and the justice department do about that voter interference? They dropped the charges against the panthers. What have the panthers gotten for their constituents with their unfounded loyalty to Obamanation? The highest rate of unemployment in the nation!!
There is no rhyme or reason to this nonsense. Either you are "response able" for yourself or your not. You can't have it both ways and I can't be burdened with being "response able" for myself and for you at the same time.
Greece is the play everyone in America should be paying attention to.
What happens in Greece won't stay in Greece.
But today, Obamanation is flying around the country, Denver today, campaigning on your wallet, talking to college students, pushing his jobs bill, touting how he's going around congress to spend more of your money on a bill congress didn't pass, putting down Republicans for being conscious about our debt reaching 100% of GDP by Halloween, and basically stirring up more occupy wall street protestors.
He's outside the law and that of being President of us all! But he's to dumb to see it!
Obamanation is telling these kids with college loans that "he" will restructure the student loan program were they will pay a lower percentage of their income to repay their loans when they're out of school and working.
(Fine, but that would, under normal thinking would extend the period and total interest on the loan. No big benefit there.)
But, he's also telling them, and get this, that after 20 years of being in the work force he will TOTALLY forgive the balance of those loans. So, in other words, when you get out of school take a low paying job to pay less out of your income and if you graduate at say 20-30 years of age, in 20 years you will be 40-50 years old with a low accumulated income history. Plus, by then the loan program will be bust and these college students children...WELL, THEY WON'T HAVE A F*CKING LOAN PROGRAM!
Good Lord people, wake-up. Obamanation is a dictator!
And I do mean -Dick!
