Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney faced issues pertaining to his Mormon faith once again last night, and attempted to deflect the hot-issue, as did Rick Perry and others. But it may be more of a problem for him than he might want to concede. Herman Cain recently pointed out that it will be difficult for him to win in Southern states with his religious views, and Tricia Erickson (the daughter of an LDS bishop that has left the Mormon church) has released a book on the subject subtitled "Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?". (Link here.)
Many in the Mormon church actually believe a prophecy that one of their own will be in the White House one day, thus establishing their dominance within the nation. Mormons also have an employment office in Washington, D.C., established for the express purpose of moving Mormons into various positions in government. A definite schism exists between most Christian branches and Mormonism, mainly due to Mormon views about Christianity (not the other way around).
However, don't expect much in the way of investigative journalism on this subject from the mainstream media for a couple of reasons. First, they love to bash Christianity whenever possible, and second, they don't know enough about Mormonism or Christianity to ask the right questions. This was glaringly obvious during the Jeremiah Wright debacle, when Obama's pastor had preached Black Liberation Theology for 20 years, and had damned America in the process. The press didn't know how to delve into the nuances of various teachings, enough to differentiate between racial bigotry and Christianity. It was a defining moment in that campaign, brought about by the complete ignorance or obfuscation of the mainstream media.
So will Romney's faith make a difference in the race? It has been a hot button, so far. It's also one that nobody wants to talk about, even though it's worth discussing. (Link here for another article.)

This book, “CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS?”, knocks it out of the park. The truth about Romney and the Mormon Church is both shocking and informative. Book is well documented and completely necessary for all to read both from a political prospective and also to save our families from the cult of Mormonism. I’m going to make sure that everyone in my family and friend circle reads it to arm themselves with this knowledge that it seems that no one else has dared to reveal. I hope the author stays safe. THIS BOOK ALSO EXPOSES MITT’S FLIP FLOP RECORD!

And when will this happen, O Wise Dennis?

Seems like a drop in the bucket doesn't it Powerball? Why over ten years? To make it seem like greater cuts? Are we children?
Crisis is coming. Crisis that will dwarf the Great Depression. Crisis that will split the country, into greater than 2 ideologies.
Everything we know about life now, will be very different.
Families will become important once again. Militias and tribes will face marauders and racial violence. Silver will reign. Survivors will be those that are best armed.

The mainstream media is currently once again focused on the financial crisis in Europe, which is temporarily distracting from the debt crisis that really matters in the U.S. On Halloween, the official U.S. national debt for the first time ever will surpass U.S. GDP. At any time now without any warning or any new catalyst, we could see a huge onslaught of dollar dumping that causes the economic equivalent of 9/11.
There is no hope of preventing hyperinflation in America when President Obama is unwilling to consider any measure that would cut government spending in a meaningful way. In August when the Budget Control Act of 2011 was enacted by Congress, the mainstream media was widely reporting that the "supercommittee" formed by the act would be in charge of finding $1.5 trillion in spending cuts by Thanksgiving. In reality, this "supercommittee" that Obama was so heavily relying on to pay for his proposals in his "jobs bill", is not responsible for finding $1.5 trillion in spending cuts but only a $1.5 trillion reduction in the budget deficit over 10 years.

It will only matter for a short time. . .

Oh the Zealots rear their heads once again.
I could care less about Romney's faith. I wouldn't vote for him in the primary because he's a rabid liberal; however, I would vote for him versus obama (but then again I'd vote for Shirley over obama).
I believe that Jesus would undoubtably be a conservative in this country and time. Liberals murder too many babies. Conservatives may not always get it right, but at least they try.
...the heart, is lead by faith on a narrow path, as righteousness escapes

Perry obviously won't pass the Jesus test. His state allows kids with dark skin but bad paperwork to get an education. Jesus never would stand for that.

It's not worth discussing unless you can provide a scintilla of evidence that his faith will affect his performance as President. If you cannot, yours is an exercise in religious bigotry. Jesus is not running for office, and even if he were, I don't think you'd like what he'd have to say.
