There was an old movie titled "Weird Science," where a group of teenage science students attempted to use science to achieve their own means. (I don't remember if I saw the film, but the title stuck.) Last week more than 5,000 e-mail files from leading scientists were leaked to the internet, and contained some very dramatic, damning material. These so-called top climate scientists discussed how to bully others and push forward their global warming theories by hiding solid evidence and attacking opponents. Whenever their findings were disputed, it wasn't up for scientific debate. They wanted to destroy their opponents. It wasn't weird. It was just plain wrong.
Science has been pushed forward as a noble, honest field that is dispassionate and filled with integrity. However, as these e-mails reveal, nothing could be further from the truth. These scientists use science to futher their personal views, and push an agenda they select. This is no longer science, but manipulation. They ought to be prosecuted, or at the very least fired from their posts.
So why does science like this exist? It's simple. You paid for it. Most of these scientists are leading professors at government-funded colleges such as Penn State and East Anglia (or the phalanx of Colorado state colleges), and have been blessed by Obama and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Federal and State governments have taken your hard-earned tax dollars, and have poured them into the pockets of these agenda-laden professors, in the name of education. (This is why the government is getting more and more of a lack-luster response from us to their constant push for more education dollars...they waste what we give them all the time.) These professors then live on large salaries, strutting about as gods, and manipulating the evidence to suit their means. It's collusion, and it needs to be stopped.
Sam knows a few scientists and professors in the Northern Colorado area that are truly digging for the truth. He also knows others that are pure crap, pushing an agenda to college-age students that supports the global warming, we-are-the-world, global experience mindset. Every one of these people are government employees, supported and paid by our tax dollars. Many of them need to be de-funded. Now. Next time the education debate comes around, Sam plans to ask how government intends to cull all of the globalist garbage out of the educational ranks and get back to real, hard science again. Of course they can't. Colleges ran better when they were largely private. But the question enlivens the debate and makes them know we are watching, and won't just hand over our tax dollars without a wimper. (Link here to another related article.)
Not one single politician can be trusted with our freedom. Until our Congress lives by the same laws that we do, then we are not governed by the people.

LBJ exponentially propelled marxist-communism with his "great society". obama is, in a bold-faced manner, trying to capitalize on these efforts in an accelerated rampage and all-out assault on our remaining freedoms.
Global warming has been but a tool, yet no less a lie, of the liberal agenda. Mt. St. Helens spewed more CO2 in a single eruption than the entirety of human industrialization.
