Open Mic, Insert Treason

Yesterday the Obama campaign team added hoodies to their promo items, because after all the little dead thug Trayvon Martin is now a poster child for the offended left.  But what Obama was doing with his Russian counterpart is more offensive than anything he might say about the Martin-Zimmerman case.

Obama met with outgoing Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, to discuss the issue of the U.S. Missile Defense Program.  Obama asked Medvedev for leniency, and also asked the message be relayed to incoming President Vladmir Putin.  Obama's statements are damning.  He said that this would be his last term as President and that he would have more latitude to deal after elected.  America, sit up and take note! If you thought the last four years were bad, just wait until he can do what he really wants!

America was not the only country to express alarm over this on-mic slip.  Poland wanted to know if Obama was going to sell them down the river to Russia.  Other Eastern Bloc nations want to know what Obama intends to do.  However, it should be Americans that demand the explanation without laughing it off.  Obama can get serious about a gang-thug in a hoodie and take his side of a story, but he laughs off an international incident when asked about that.  How corrupt can you be?  Once again, his actions are duplicitous.

This comes on the heels of a find on the East Coast of documents that may link him to a Kenya birth, instead of one in Hawaii.  Stay tuned.  There is much more under the surface of this President than he wants to have America know.

Presumption of Innocence

The racial haters were warming up their lynch-mobs over the weekend.  Seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by a white man, and the majority of the pundits automatically assumed it was a hate crime.  Then an eyewitness weighed in.  According to his report, Martin attacked George Zimmerman, the white, neighborhood watch volunteer, and Zimmerman shot the teen in self-defense while he was being attacked and beaten.  A broken nose, crime scene investigations and the 911 call also verified these details.

But Obama, the alleged Constitutional lawyer, had already weighed in, taking the side of the aggressive teen.  Black Panthers have placed a dead-or-alive bounty on the white man.  Marches and rallies were staged nation-wide this week, and in the meantime the U.S. Constitution has been forgotten or completely ignored by vigilante activism.

There is a reason for the presumption of innocence in our laws.  Crimes are committed and accidents happen.  When they occur, emotions are high, and witnesses must be deposed.  Arrests and charges may be forthcoming based on the evidence, or they may not happen at all.  These details are dealt with, hopefully, in a more dispassionate manner, so that justice may be done.  The masses are not just.  They are emotional.  As details and facts emerge, the full story is known.  Then and only then, can justice be served.

The police did not file charges based on the evidence of the case.  That is when the cries of racism began.  The neighborhood watch volunteer weeps over the life he felt compelled to take, in order to save his own.  There is a bounty on his head and death threats from black hate groups.  A young teenager is dead, shot for his stupidity.  Obama quickly steps into the fray because once again he's sure it's a minority against white issue.  Either that, or he wants to divide the nation using racism.  He's a master at it.  He sat under the preaching of Jeremiah Wright long enough to know how to hate others.  This may be a true, racist crime.  If not however, it is great propaganda used by the left to incite violence, divide the nation, and create a state of emergency.  Then what?  According to recent executive orders, Obama rules.  The teenager is not the only death in the news these days.  The truth is dead, too, and so is the U.S. Constitution.

Double Standard

According to some today, things are sailing along just smoothly.  Obama inherited a disaster from Bush and has done his level best to provide liberty and justice (but not for all).  He loves government funded liberty for solar energy, while he bashes clean coal that is much cheaper, much more stable, and incredibly clean.  He loves justice for blacks or those he decides have been wronged, but he ignores justice for others.  It is a double standard in the nation, and it is becoming more obvious all the time.

Consider the case of the soldier that killed civilians in Afghanistan, versus the Ft. Hood Islamic killer of Americans.  Here is a quote Sam received about that this week, and it's a good one.

"After reading the headlines today about the US soldier who shot up Afghanistan civilians, I couldn't help noticing an irony.  There is all this clamor to try this guy quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury.  Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while screaming 'Allah akbar', still hasn't stood trial, and they are still debating whether he was insane - even with the clear evidence regarding his motive: 'slay as many infidels as possible'.  So we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he must be executed immediately.  But, this Muslim psychiatrist who was stateside in a nice safe office all day murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and they try to argue the poor man suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome, from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience.  Two and a half years later, they still haven't tried the murderous bastard."

Is there a double standard?  You bet there is, and it is led by the tyrants at the top.  Obama hope?  Nope!

Revised Tyranny

On Friday the White House released a new and updated executive order giving the President of the United States broad jurisdiction that has stirred up many.  Among the items the government can control are things like water, food, and your body.  You can be conscripted into military service, or be forced to work for the government at any job they deem necessary.  These issues are not just for wartime, but also in times of peace at the President's discretion.  It sounds like tyranny to me.

Proponents of the order will point out the fact that other Presidents (e.g., Clinton and Bush) have enacted such measures and this is merely an "update."  Opponents will point out the fact that this one is significantly different, more broad, and according to some statements was drafted in the background by Henry Kissinger, a long-time globalist.  It was also released on Friday, a day when notoriously sensitive information is dumped into the media channels in hopes people will be watching basketball, NASCAR, or something else besides the tyranny channel.

Regardless, the executive order is in place, and it affects you.  It may have been written in Washington, but it is very local in application.  Read it for yourself.  Decide if any sitting President should have this kind of power.  (Click here to read the order.)

What Is NDPC?

A Reuters exclusive news article has disclosed that the Obama administration is willing to give top secret  U.S. Missile Shield data to the nation of Russia!  That, my friends, is material that you and I cannot see because of its highly sensitive nature, but the Obamunist wants to give it to Russia!

Russia has opposed the installation of the missile shield in neighboring nations such as Poland, and the U.S. wants to soften them up a bit, by sharing data.  (Again, they wouldn't tell you, but they will tell Russia.)  They would provide technical data on how the shield works, how quickly the rockets burn out, etc.  And of course they would handle everything through the NDPC.

What is the NDPC?  Apparently this stand for the National Disclosure Policy Committee that is an "inter-agency group" in the U. S. Government.  Wait a minute!  If we are going to disclose anything, it should go through Congress and be voted on before any release is made!  But this is how the government is working these days.  They just make internal, bureaucratic decisions to share data, and then they share it with other nations, even if they may be enemies.

Again, this is another reason why Obama must go.  So too, must these committees.  They fly in the face of everything our forefathers installed as a check and balance in government.  Reuters is reporting.  What will Congress do with this one?  (Link here to Reuters story.)

Don't Die!

Ah, those ridiculous little politicians.  Where do they come up with there ideas?  There is the leader of the small Italian town that ordered the people in his village "not to die" this past week!  And then there is German Chancellor Angela Merkel.  She wants to tax sites like Drudge, just for showing up in her country via the internet.  They are such lovable types, aren't they.  (Insert chuckle here.)

Of course U.S. leaders are no different.  They can gut the Bill of Rights on the national level, and force everyone to have health care and death panels that lets the government determine when your time is up (just the opposite of the Italians, that want you to keep on living).  At the state level, they can let criminals and illegals carry firearms anywhere they want, as long as they don't get caught.  Citizens can carry firearms too, as long as they don't put a sweater over them.  Then, you need a government sanctioned permit, because after all, you are a law-abiding citizen.  Ahem.

These are the thought processes of people in government today.  Remember that when you question candidates.  The right to carry firearms means just that.  You have one, you carry it.  Period.  You are a citizen, not an illegal that seeks permission from the government to breathe!  The government should protect the borders (something they aren't doing a good job at), provide for interstate transport with a few roads, and butt out!  But that is just Sam's opinion.  Perhaps though, it would be a good place to start the dialogue with friends and neighbors...and politicians these days.  After all, they are telling us when to live and when to die.  Shouldn't we be telling them a few things while they listen for a change?

Did He Really Say That?

There are so many issues that impact both state and local govenment these days.  Abound Solar is going down like Solyndra, despite being pork-fed, bringing another solar scandal close to home.  Windsor residents are asking candidates about whether they will push for your tax money to be given to their Vestas plant (so they can continue their idyllic, inflated lifestyle).  The University of Northern Colorado has begun to cater to Muslims as they bring sharia through the Dining hall.  And primary candidates are filling the local meeting halls of various political groups with their promises and viewpoints.

All of these are interesting stories.  The largest story today comes from Leon Panetta, Obama's top military man, as he completely obliterates the U.S. Constitution with his statements.  We will link to the video clip, courtesy of Brietbart (RIP).  In the video, Leon Panetta completely skirts the Constitution and every protection we have in place, to take military action (it's called war) based on international direction.  It is absolutely treasonous!  Watch for yourself and see how far down the slippery slope we have gone as a nation.

This is the mindset of those in government, at many levels.  When they think that consulting with people they perceive to be higher authorities gives them power over our lives and our money, that is treason.  Whether it's the Federal, state or local level, this is a dangerous game.  Government must be cleaned out, from top to bottom.  Panetta and many others have been around too long.  Throw them out!  This is why it's critical to have some fresh faces in Congress this year.  (Watch 7 minute video clip here, and judge for yourself about Panetta's remarks.)

The Supremes Have Ruled

The Colorado Supreme court has ruled in favor of the people.  The University of Colorado must allow those with concealed carry permits to carry their firearms on the campuses of the University without fear of reprisal from the liberal, leftist socialists that run the place.  They will rage (of course), but the rights given to the citizens have won over the control of the People's Republic of Boulder.

Colorado State University has allowed concealed carry holders to carry on campus for years, with zero increase in crime or firearm activity.  Aims Community College abides by the state law, as written.  CU bucked the edict and now must comply.  The University of Northern Colorado, Colorado Mesa and other colleges are now under the gun (so to speak), themselves.  They will be forced to give citizens their rights (instead of being tyrants) at some point.  The people of Colorado, the legislature, and now the Colorado State Supreme Court have spoken.

This was a hard-fought battle, that was won by the people and the groups in the trenches.  They fought for us, and deserve our thanks.  Anybody that thinks freedom is casual, free, and easily-obtainable has never had to stand for anything.  The right to keep and bear arms in Colorado is still not as free as it needs to be, but at least students with concealed carry permits can now breathe a little easier on campus.  Terrorists, thugs and thieves may now think twice before trying something there.

It's A Fraud. Now What?

Sheriff Joe Arpaio's preliminary investigation into Obama's birth certifice was released yesterday, concluding the certificate is a fraud.  Obama's selective service document is also probably a fraud.  Both of these fraudulent documents demonstrate the potential for a huge problem, that being treason and conspiracy against the United States at the highest levels.  Arpaio recommends a full-scale congressional investigation as a probable step.

Perhaps it's time for our congressional leaders to hear from us for one reason.  The truth matters.  If Nixon was involved in Watergate, he deserved to be impeached.  If Obama is a fraud, he deserves to be prosecuted.  The truth matters.  All of the groups out there ranging from the Occupy group to the 9.12 groups say they want national unity.  Let's unite around the truth.  It matters.  Call your congressman and demand a full-scale investigation.  If the USA is being subverted from within, would you care?  Would it matter more than your party (or non-party) leanings?  The answer to the question "now what" lies partly in our hands.

The Emergent Racicst

Barack Obama is now calling for blacks, churches, and various splinter groups to join him in his campaign.  He is intentionally dividing the nation as a clever political tactic.  Divide and destroy.  This comes from the man that spoke of unifying the nation.  He would bring us into the post-racial era of love and politics.

So who is it that criticized an East Coast police officer, calling him a racist a couple of years ago?  Obama.  Who was it that constantly refers to racial issues, more than any other man in the White House?  Obama.  Who now calls on blacks and churches to stand with him because he's "the One?"  It's Obama.  If any other candidate employed these types of tactics the media would attack him immediately.  But Obama gets a pass.  This is collusion, and of course you and I know it.  This is why we have abandoned their news sites in droves, choosing instead to rely on the internet for much of our information.

Make no mistake.  This is not a sophomoric move by a foolish man.  He is clever, divisive, and racist in his strategies.  His ilk understand precisely what he is doing, and we need to have the determination to unemploy him in November.  After all, there will be thousands of racists and welfare recipients voting for him.  We are the other side, standing against the tide. 2nd Robbery, Or 2nd Amendment?

Over the weekend a Lakewood man was locking his business when two thugs attacked him.  They sprayed him with pepper spray, but he was prepared.  He drew his firearm and shot one of the attackers, wounding him.  The second man fled for his life.  It was the second time this business owner had been robbed recently, and he felt he had to carry a firearm to defend his life and property.  The police are not expected to file charges.

The real question should be why this man could even have charges considered against him in the first place.  He was at his business, his life was in danger.  He should have been able to carry openly, concealed, and use that firearm to defend himself or anyone else around him.  Instead there are a myriad of state and local laws that must be considered, and when the conflict occurs none of them flash through your mind.  You are merely trying to survive and defend.  Period.

This is why gun laws in Colorado must be expanded to reflect the true nature of the 2nd Amendment.  My right, my gun, my carry (open or concealed), and my defense any time, any where.  Period.  The thugs and thieves are carrying without permits, everywhere they go.  They robbed a Human Bean just a few days ago, and a Walgreens days before that.  In Greeley.  Locally.  Will they come for your cash and property next?

It makes sense to expand Colorado's gun laws.  Now.  Law abiding citizens should not fear the law.  Criminals need more fear instilled into their hearts.  Instead, Colorado laws are too restrictive.  Change the laws.  Open up freedom for all Colorado residents.  Now.  Before another innocent citizen is killed by a lawbreaking thug.

Why Evil Persists

A number of good proposals have come to committee this session, but have been repeatedly shot down.  Senator Renfroe proposed the elimination of red light cameras based on hard data proving that they are nothing more than hazards and revenue generators.  The bill failed in committee.

Another committee failure was a bill that may directly impact you.  Demoncrats have decided to try and hyper-control daycares, down to the number and color of crayons, types of food, and the educational qualifications of those working in a daycare, whether religious, private or otherwise.  Bills designed to return these decisions back to parents and grandparents failed in committee as well.

Why did they fail?  They failed because there are people that don't believe you and I should be free.  Riesburg's replacement in House District 50, Dave Long, may be new to the statehouse, but he sure votes like a liberal tyrant.  Renfroe and a group of others are consistently pushing for more liberty and less restriction on you, the citizen.  But they are in the minority.

Every time we have an issue like this arise, it's because we voted these people into office.  Some think you are smart enough to vote for them, but too dumb to live your own life.  So they must force more and more regulation upon you.  This fall, remember their dirty deeds.  Dump them!  Let's bring in senators and representatives that will get out of our back yards.  Are you ready for a breath of fresh air?

The Spy In Your Back Yard

The relaxing of FAA regulations to enable drones unfettered access to the nation's skies opens a pandora's box of privacy and property right concerns.  Drones can be anywhere, used for nearly anything (as this CBS News report from Grand Junction describes), and can also be bought by anyone.

To further investigate this, Sam Hill checked into the possibility of buying a drone himself.  He wanted a camera drone that would record activities on camera, taking still shots and even video.  He had to look no further than Amazon's website.  Drones were available there, controlled by an iPod, and could be used to record virtually anything on the ground.  Do-It-Yourself Drones (link here to their site) is doing a booming business in this area as well, and can show you how to "observe" anything you want using a drone.

It may be argued that the concern over drones in the hands of governmental authorities is no cause for concern, that they need probable cause in order to use one in a case.  However, we may soon see that change.  With thousands of pages of new regulations enacted each year you (and I) are undoubtedly breaking some kind of a law right now.  If the government has an agenda, all they need to do is say they had a probable cause, launch a drone, and find the infraction.

It's true that drones have excellent uses.  But they are also dangerous, because the government has overstepped the Constitution and the law with impunity.  It is up to citizens to push government back.  As Ronald Reagan famously stated, "the government is not the solution, it is the problem."  We need to remember that, because the eyes in the skies may be looking at us.

They Lost Him?

A high-ranking criminal from Mexico was recently arrested and detained in Smith County, Texas.  He had more than $60 thousand dollars in cash with him as well as a shotgun, and was arrested along with his wife and held in the local lock-up.  Then the Feds stepped in.

When the local police began to check the firearm possessed by this man, the U.S. State Department called.  ATF, ICE, FBI and Homeland Security all showed up.  The county was told to turn the criminal over (as well as his evidence) to the Federal authorities, and they complied.  Oops!  Now, he's missing!

When the Federal government becomes the problem, you have clear-cut tyranny.  Was the gun a part of the fast and furious scandal?  Was our government in cahoots with the Mexican government in protecting this man somehow?  We don't know, and that's the problem.  Our government has become the problem.

We should be screaming at the top of our lungs for heads to roll in all of these departments.  Now!  But they are protected by the Obama administration.  You know, the administration that is suing the state of Arizona and siding with Mexico on immigration policies.  It's that administration that is threatening county sheriffs, and trying to control and manipulate every facet of your life.  That's the one.  They just lost a national criminal, after local authorities did their job.  Heads need to roll.  Now.  If not we must assume our own government is in collusion and treat them accordingly.  (Link here to corresponding story.)

Who Voted For This?

An extreme overhaul of the FAA (Federal Aeronautics Administration) was recently passed by the Obama administration, that will use satellites to assist with air traffic control.  The wrangling over this bill took 5 years, and there were 23 temporary bills passed to keep the FAA afloat during all of the controversy.  In fact, the FAA was shut down for 2 weeks at one point, just because of the acrimony.

What were the sticking points that took so long to pass?  First, there was the issue of ensuring air traffic safety.  People in the air are vulnerable, and there was much debate on whether to use satellites and new technology, when older, more stable manual process had a solid track record.  But there were other issues and agendas in this bill as well.

One of them involves the tracking and use of drones, unmanned aircraft, in the United States.  The Federal government wants to use drones for various things, and so does law enforcement.  Law enforcement wants drones for air tracking of various thugs and thieves in their surveillance measures.  A little drone in the sky isn't as easily noticed as a squad car on the street.

But the drones are also wanted by Federal bureaucracies.  The EPA wants them, to track what they may think is illegal waste dumping on private property.  The department of Agriculture can use them to hover over private farm land and snap pictures of crops, acres used, even water consumption.  Get the picture?  Big brother is about to really watch you, because the uses of drones by government are virtually endless.  And who are they intending to watch?  You!

So who voted for this piece of legislation?  Actually, local Republican Cory Gardner did.  It joins his votes for the continuation of the Patriot Act and the NDAA debacle in his hall of infamy.  Make no mistake.  Just because somebody is a Republican, doesn't mean they are for freedom and true liberty.  Check it out for yourself.  Then ask yourself what the difference is between the Republican and Democratic candidates.  Sometimes, there won't be much difference at all.  And that is the huge tragedy.  Because of the, Big Brother is watching you.

What's The Catch?

Do you remember the battle royal over extending the payroll deduction "tax break" for two months?  It appeared that Obama caved in, and the sound of rejoicing was heard around the beltway.  However, what did the RINO's give up in return?  We find out now.

A new fee has now been located, tacked on to Fannie and Freddie mortgages.  This "fee" will be paid over the life of the loan, and it replaces the lost monies that would have been generated by the payroll tax.  How clever.  Bury a fee in another area, run it for 30 years on somebody else, don't tell the public, and all is well in Washington.

The nation should be outraged at the Republicans and the Demoncrats over this one.  Our Federal senators and representatives need to be grilled on how this was passed into law, and what their vote was on this "fee."  It's just political self-protection, searching for ways to move private money into Washington coffers.

What will they do next?  Will they try to bury the mortgage fraud cases with sweetheart deals that prop up the too-big-to-fail banks again?  Oh!  That's happening today?  Well, of course it is.  No wonder we the people are fed up with both parties.  (Link here for the CBS story.)

Weld County Stands For Freedom

Yesterday the Weld County commissioners officially opposed the recent National Defense Authorization Act, saying it oversteps the U.S. Constitution.  They effectively nullified its operation within Weld County with their actions, and while some may criticize their actions as political grandstanding, others laud it as a bold response from local government.

The commissioners took deliberate steps, consulting with legal counsel and making sure their stance was codified in certain terms.  Should other counties or states follow in their steps, Weld County could be used as a blueprint for their actions.

It's good to see government exercising its authority for the rights of the people.  Weld County is frugally managed and has zero debt.  They have inserted "In God We Trust" into county status.  Now they formally oppose NDAA.  These are excellent steps!  It's good to hear some good news for a change.

The Gathering Of The Sheriffs

On January 29th County Sheriff's from around the nation gathered for a 3-day symposium regarding their role and duties in standing against tyranny in the United States.  "Peace Officers Uniting To End State And Federal Tyranny" was not a group of strange extremists, but rather sober-minded Law Enforcement Officers that are increasingly concerned about Federal encroachment on state and local rights and laws.

The county sheriff has the power to constrain Federal authorities.  If this power had been exercised appropriately in Waco, Texas the killing of the Branch Davidians may not have occurred because the Feds would have been reined in.  Some counties are reiterating to the Federal government their mandate that any Federal agency must coordinate with them and have local approval before any Federal exercise is conducted.  The old saying that "good fences make good neighbors" applies here, and sheriffs can still exercise their authority to ensure local citizens retain their sovereignty and freedom.

What does Weld County Sheriff John Cooke think of these proceedings?  How will his successor stand for these liberties?  Cooke has been solid in many ways as Weld County sheriff, and has supported the 2nd Amendment and our right to keep and bear arms.  Was he in Vegas?  Does he support these views?  Those are questions worth asking to either him, or those campaigning to take his place when he steps down.

Wrong State

Mr. Obama jetted into Colorado from Las Vegas yesterday on a quasi-campaign stop, to tell everyone how that he was for energy despite his attacks against the Keystone pipeline and other ventures.  However, he should have been in a Georgia courtroom, because the real action took place there.

In a story completely avoided by the lemming, mainstream media, an unprecedented court case opened yesterday with Judge Mahili presiding, to determine the facts in Obama's eligility to be on the Georgia ballot as a natural born citizen of the United States.  Obama's attorney, Jablonski, had contacted the Georgia Secretary of States the night before, insisting the case be dropped, but the Secretary of State refused and the case proceeded with evidence admitted into a court of law as legal proceeding, challenging Obama's qualifications to sit as President of the United States.

Some of the items admitted into evidence included:

• Testimony concerning the Minor v Happersett case before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1875.  This case states defines a natural born citizen as one that has two parents that are U.S. citizens.

• Documents from Obama's father, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, proving conclusively that he was never a U.S. citizen.

• Excerpts from Obama's book (pages 214, 215), "Dreams From My Father."

• Barack Obama's alleged Hawaii birth certificate.

• This was followed up by certified experts testifying to the fact that this birth certificate is fraudulent.

• Barack Obama's social security number from Connecticut (despite the fact he never resided there), issued to him as a Hawaii resident.

• Expert testimony discloses Obama's SSN is flagged on e-verify as fraudulent, and originally released to another person.

• A letter received from an attorney showing a renewal form from Obama's mother for her passport listing Obama's last name as something other than Obama.

After 2 hours of testimony, all of this material was officially entered into court records.  The judge will make a ruling in an unknown timeframe, but he seems to be bound by the Supreme Court precedent established more than a century ago.  If this is the case, Obama may be deemed ineligible for the Georgia ballot.  This would move other state challenges forward and ultimately the case would accelerate up the ladder to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Worse yet, if Obama is not a citizen of the U.S. himself, he could be found to be undermining the U.S. by his own lies and actions.  This could make him a candidate for indefinite detention under the recent NDAA bill passed less than a month ago.  In all reality, what happens from here is anyone's guess.  Court is now in session.  The establishment media has blatantly avoided the event, and deserves to be boycotted at every level.  Liberty is still faintly alive, in one court of law.  Now we wait to see what the ruling will be.

White Gun

Friday is usually "garbage day," the day in the news media that is an interesting phenomenon.  Readers and news viewers are usually down because people want to go have a good time over the weekend.  So the information some government agencies don't want people to notice is frequently released on Fridays and Saturdays.  This gave birth to the "garbage day" term.  They kick out their so-called trash, and there is frequently some very, very powerful material in it.

One such piece of garbage is yet another emerging scandal in BATF (the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms), an operation known as White Gun.  It seems it was used in 2010 (under Obama), and run by Eric Holder, Obama's friend.  What was it supposed to do?  It was supposed to track the flow of guns into Mexico.  However, it is now being revealed that many of these guns once again disappeared.  Imagine that!  One of the main exporters of weapons into Mexico is the U.S. government under Obama and Holder's leadership.  These guns are used against the Mexican government and people, as well as our own.  This is a crime of treason.

We will probably hear about how this was supposed to be a "sting operation," and that it has done much good.  However, keep in mind the fact that the people saying this don't want any of us to have firearms, and want them all registered and tracked by a government that enacts rules without voting, and appoints leaders without congressional approval.  So much for a small and limited government.  White Gun is yet another facet of a bureacracy gone bad.  Look for more news as garbage days release the materials in weeks ahead.

Enemy Of State

The Washington Times reports the latest update on Obama's escapades in giving away our national security.  He intends to share U.S. missile defense secrets, secrets that you and I as U.S. citizens would not be allowed to know, with the Russian military.  This comes on the heels of his announcement to draw down our military size and spending.  He has no authority to disclose this classified data to Russia (but then again, he has no authority to appoint the latest gang of thugs during a congressional recess either).  This so-called President jeopardizes the entire security of the United States.  (Link here to the Washington Times article.)

On the left (West) coast, the L.A. Times also reports the fact that the Obama administration intends to change the rules regarding illegal aliens.  With the stroke of an executive pen Obama and his cronies intend to allow some illegals to remain in the U.S. while they apply for permanent status.  Let me reiterate once again, this is completely outside of Obama's jurisdiction.  This action must be voted on by Congress before being enacted into law.  Furthermore, one of the serious issues the border security and illegal policies must confront is that of national security.  Again, Obama circumvents his duties to protect this nation with a "rule change."  (That L.A. Obama took an oath of office to defend this nation from all enemies, without and within.  He should resign.  He is an enemy of state, and is wielding the authority of his office as a tyrant and a king.  If you don't believe me, read the Declaration of Independence, and ask yourself how many of the complaints against the King of England would apply to Obama today.  There are many.  We are a constitutional republic, and as such, Obama's powers are few and limited.  He has overreached every one of them.  The House of Representatives must cut off his funding, and the Senate must stand against him.  Any that do not, should be lumped into the charges of treason that can be filed against him.

If They Do...

On New Years Eve Sarah McKinley was at home with her 3 month-old son when an intruder broke into her home armed with a hunting knife.  Already on the phone with 911, Sarah did a noble thing and protected the lives of her baby and herself, killing the intruder with a shotgun.  The intruders' accomplice was so shaken he turned himself into police.

Today the MSNBC headline about the story reads as follows:  "No charges for teen widow who killed intruder."  You got that right!  No charges.  Should there have been charges in the first place?  No!  But our rights are under assault on every flank in this nation.  Thanks to the work of some great 2nd Amendment organizations there are still laws in place that enable citizens to protect themselves.  The very fact that a headline like the one above is written shows us how prevalent the subtle mindset of the government granting us rights has become.  This young woman who had just lost her husband to a battle with cancer was using her natural rights to defend her life and family.  The very fact that charges would be considered is abhorrent.  They should give the woman a medal for eliminating garbage from the earth.

These notations in the mainstream media denote the shift in our nation.  Tyranny is truly in power when we think the government gives us rights.  However, they are not given by the government, but merely recognized by them.  Sarah's rights were unalienable and natural that night an armed attacker broke into her home, and she used them well.  We thank her for her example.  No charges?  Absolutely not.  She's a good neighor, a solid citizen, and a great mom.

When Santa Is A Muslim

Aziz Yazdanpanah, an Iranian Muslim, was known by neighbors as a kind and happy man, a doting father.  He would care for your house when you were on vacation, and was always ready with a smile or a joke for his friends and those in the neighborhood.  He was separated from his wife, and didn't like the dishonor his 19-year old daughter Nona was bringing to the family.  She was dating a non-Muslim, and was happily identifying with American culture and life.

On Christmas morning Aziz walked into the Grapevine, Texas apartment where his estranged wife and family lived, dressed in a Santa Claus costume.  Presents and wrapping paper were strewn about the apartment in cheerful disarray, as "Santa" walked through the door.  Aziz opened fire, killing his wife, his 15-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter, his sister-in-law, her husband, and their 22-year-old daughter as well, before taking his own life.

The motive behind this crime was Muslim hatred for the American way of life.  This man didn't want to blend, assimilate, or respect any other culture except his own.  So in Grapevine, Texas Aziz took the lives of those that were adjusting well to America, proving once again that the drumbeat of Islam is not peace, but death and destruction.  Coexistence between Islam and America is impossible, and there will be more bloodshed before we accept that harsh reality.

Christmas Break

Many of the conservatives have been yelling about how much Barack and Michelle's Hawaiian Vacation is costing American taxpayers, and for good reason.  But consider how much it may cost if they were to remain in Washington and continue to enact executive orders and other liberty-robbing measures.

We have come to a place where the government is the problem.  When the new regulations enacted at these levels fill thousands of pages per year there is no doubt that you and I are breaking laws we don't even know.  When these laws continue to grow in part due to the fact that legislators aren't even bothering to read them before they vote on them, something is wrong.  The bureaucrats and special interests are running the country, and instead of a government we respect we now have a government most of us fear.  That, my friends, is tyranny.

So when Obama takes a vacation, perhaps it's not such a bad thing.  Maybe he's searching for a real birth certificate since the ones he has provided to this point are fraudulent.  Maybe he needs time away from the party and monied atmosphere of the nation's capitol to relax and spend, spend, spend his redistributed wealth.  Whatever the case, he's probably less dangerous right now than he will be in January.  The same holds true for our governor and the Colorado Statehouse, and our Federal representatives, too.  When they are back in action is when the danger increases, and that will be soon enough.  Merry Christmas!

Why Border Security Matters

Latin television giant Univision recently released a documentary "La Amenaza Irana" (The Iranian Threat) that includes undercover video footage shot in Islamic camps...in Mexico.  Using hidden cameras and undercover journalists, the film also documents terrorists Venezuelan camps, links between the drug cartels and terrorism targets in the United States, and the use of diplomats from Venezuela, Iran and Cuba to plan a cyber attack against the White House, FBI, Pentagon and U.S. nuclear plants.

As Greeley Report has pointed out in previous articles, Jihad is not coming to the U.S.  It's already here.  The only credible solution is to close and secure the U.S. borders, and then begin to sort out the web of terror that has already come into the nation and lives covertly in various cities and towns.  Obama has used the open borders to his advantage, even suing one of the states he is supposed to support and defend as the pseudo-president.  His actions, and the actions of Eric Holder (the fast-and-furious liar, perjurer and murderer) are impeachable offenses.

Lest anyone get caught up in the emotional temptation think that this is a racial, or a racist issue, think again.  Border - the defined boundary between one nation and another.  Security - the act of making safe and habitable.  Those are the two issues at stake.  The borders must be closed.  Illegals must be deported.  All co-opting agents (including diplomats) must be expelled.  These are the steps that must be taken to begin to implement a measure of security in America.  Everything else is mere political posturing and window dressing, no matter what dimension of the political spectrum you embrace.
