We are told that Islam is the religion of peace. However, the news tells a different story.
Muslims are involved in every major conflict around the world. Africa, Indonesia, the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe. There is one common thread; the theme of Islam. Tell them to pack their bags and get out. It's time we start speaking up before there is a Ft. Hood-style situation right here.

A faithful Greeley Report reader pointed Sam Hill to a comment in the Lib Trib by a Craig Conrad. He shared his thoughts on the 9.12 grassroots group that is springing up around Greeley and the rest of America. Sam won't deign to quote from the article, but it slanders the 9.12 bunch by ignoring the facts. Conrad wants to see "people of color" in the 9.12 advertising, and says that going back to our national roots would put America back in the times of slavery, no income tax, and women being kept from the ballot box.
Has Craig met with the local 9.12 group? No. Has he read the materials they are discussing? No. Perhaps Craig thinks that we are more enlightened now than ever before. Maybe we need Sharia (that's Muslim for public schoolers) law instead of a Judeo-Christian foundation. He thinks America needs to be protected from itself; from a time when the country was working well -- far better than it is today. Of course there were problems, but nothing like we face in today's society.
Sam challenges Craig and others to go to a 9.12 meeting. Learn what they are standing for. Talk with them. Listen. Don't be a drive-by idiot. Or you may end up in a bhurka, paying infidel taxes to some Muslim who doesn't hate his identity, his past or his religion. Get a grip and grow up America. It's time to revisit some of the foundational issues that made us great and the 9.12 group is trying to do that. It's more than Sam can say about Craig. He's just a hater. What are you?

Yesterday nearly 1,000 people showed up at the API-sponsored forum on the Waxman-Markey bill, also known as cap and trade. Of course API was strongly partisan, since they are a petro-based group. But the information they shared is vital to the debate in Washington about global warming, er climate change.
The speakers had key points they made. For example, the "global cooling" and "new ice age" scare of the 1970's didn't pan out. Second, there are as many scientists opposed to the man-made global warming direction the government is pursuing, as there as for it. They just don't get to speak out, because they are suppressed. Third, the government isn't coming out to the farms, ranches and oilfields to see what is going on. They are merely passing legislation to tax, control, and manipulate the people. It's wrong.
Sam observed people from various walks of life. While many came from the oil and gas industry and the country, others were from Northern Colorado cities, white collar workers, and business leaders. As one man succinctly put it, "if you can show me a wind-powered John Deere, maybe you can tax and kill my diesel. But until then, you have no right manipulating the market! Leave us alone!"

Word has come from a Greeley Report reader that Andy McGaven, in the City of Evans Administrators office may have been one of those who blocked a movie to be shown at the community center because it contains overtly Christian themes. Although Sam doesn't know, this source reports that McGaven is a unitarian universalist. They are supposed to be tolerant of everyone and everything. Right? Or are they Jesus-phobic, intolerant, hate-filled liberals? Gasp! Say it aint so!

This is a follow-up to the article on the Evans film that the Lib Trib attributed to a church state issue. Sam spoke directly with Evans city contacts and was told that this is not the case. The film has been pulled at this point because city officials were not able to pre-screen it for content. Any mention of other issues was at most inadvertent and not the main issue. However, you won't hear that at the Trib. Sam has a good bunch of connections. They tell him the story behind the story. And the truth is that the Trib screwed up yet another story.
They can't lower the boom on liberals like Markey, Ritter or Reisburg. They inflame people with little stories like these that are completely wrong. And they embrace muslims, buddhists, and multicultural values. No wonder the Trib is the incredible shrinking newspaper! Do you read it? Do you believe it? Beware.

Sam has learned through the Lib Trib that the city of Evans has shut down the showing of a movie at the community center that has Christian overtones about lives being changed from bad to good! They didn't want to offend anyone with the "separation of church and state" issues. Meanwhile, Greeley is showing "Kung Fu Panda," an animated film in one of their city parks tonight that has eastern religious overtones in it. Apparently Buddha is welcome in Greeley/Evans, but Jesus is not.
Complaint calls are being referred to the Evans police chief, not to the city council members (who are your elected officials). That seems a bit heavy-handed, too. Sam doesn't know what your religious tendencies may be, but when the predominating religion and culture in the nation and state is being restricted by the government that seems to be a violation of constitutional rights. Even the Colorado state constitution addresses "with a profound reverence the Supreme Ruler of the universe."
Call the city of Evans and complain. If you don't, the liberals win. If you don't complain the others will continue to intrude. We will end up like Minneapolis who now has more than 100 mosques and at least 40 other languages spoken in the city. Is that what you want? Or do you want to stand up now for America's values, history and freedom?

The proposed "fracking" regulations by a couple of liberals in Colorado (Diana DeGette and Jared Polis) have been opposed by the Weld County commissioners along with others. Why? Because they know that they are nothing but government trying to destroy the oil and gas industry. We are witnessing the communization of America through the liberals and their control of government, business, and now oil and gas (co-opted by Ritter at the state level). Earth worship has gone to an entire new level.
Sam believes there are effective ways to keep our lands healthy and safe without controlling what others do with their private property. Government has stepped way over the bounds and it's time to roll some things back. The Libs are salivating over the prospect of running your life and mine. Let's tell their slobbering souls no for a change, and keep our freedom, our businesses and our property rights where they should be. In our hands and on our terms. Good job, commissioners. Now butt out, liberals.

Take a look at this conference in the U.S. that's actions will soon impact Greeley. (Click here for link) Sam has lived in this area and dealt with these people. Believe me. It's coming.

NOTE: Thanks to a faithful reader for these comments.
Yesterday was the National Day of Prayer and Obama did nothing about it. True, he signed the annual proclamation. But he said that he prayed in private (probably bowing toward Mecca). I think he looked in the mirror, prayed to himself (after all, he is the One) while he was shaving, and that's about all the praying he did. He says he honors America and it's values. But he doesn't honor America's God, wear flag pins, or do anything that is from our national heritage. He's a hypocrite that is bent on destroying America as we know it, and yesterday's behavior is one more indicator of his path.

The upcoming "unity march" to promote support of illegal aliens is a definite indicator of today's trend. Sam Hill believes that smart is out, and stupid is in. Go anywhere today and you will see the signs. Tolerance accepts perverse, dumb, even ignorant views. But the views of intelligent, solid Americans are not tolerated. American classrooms are pushing away healthy competition, tests, and excellence so that "everyone can be included without discrimination." Even in some religious circles the "God loves everyone" mantra is being chanted like the cult-following koolaid drinkers of old. Government has to cater to the lowest common denominator, not the innovative and productive. Even Obama touched the stupid. After all, he was elected by something besides the intelligent and free-thinking in America!
Yes, stupid is in. But there's a problem with that. You see, stupid may make good bureaucrats and welfare recipients, but they don't run farms and ranches, invent products, run businesses, and develop excellence. No, they prey on the intelligent while they secretly hate them. When the stupid come to power, the intelligent are wise enough to keep their heads down until things get bad enough for life to change again. How long will this take? Who knows? Perhaps the stupid media will tell us. Perhaps it will be the next crisis or "unity march" that will awaken our society. Until then, wise ones, keep your heads down and work like crazy. Your time is coming, and soon!

Muslim loans are now available in the state of Minnesota for Muslims only. Nobody will state whether these loans came out of bailout money. All that is known is that these loans are in compliance with Islamic Sharia law. Muslims are forbidden to pay interest. Consequently, many either rent homes or pay cash for them. However, a Somali Muslim has now become the first person in the U.S. to receive one of the new no-interest (yes, you heard right) Islamic loans.
Sam Hill wants to know where his zero-percent interest loan is. He checked with a local pastor and discovered that paying interest is against Jewish and Christian standards, too! What if we push for that here in America? Will there also be Buddhist loans, Hindu loans and nature worship loans? Quite frankly, Sam doesn't care as long as he is entitled to a zero percent loan himself.
It seems a lending institution that cannot discriminate against race, sex, ethnicity or religion (according to U.S. Government standards) should now provide zero percent loans to everyone. What do you think? Are you in? Are you prepared to protest over preferential treatment given to one religion over another? It sounds unconstitutional to me. Unless we are now playing with the constitution. Gimme my loan!
